Associated Science Experts, LLC offers research and study programs in the fields of entomology and insects, arachnology / spiders, and pesticides / insecticides. Our entomological research programs are conducted under the direction of  Douglas L. Seemann, BCE.  A sample of the many possible programs include:

• Entomology and arachnology:

  • Biting habits of insects, spiders, scorpions, and rodents; stings by bees (including swarm attacks by Africanized honey bees).

  • Breeding habits of roaches, ants, spiders, bees, flies, fleas, gophers, mosquitoes, termites, other insects, worms, arachnids, and rodents.

  • Feeding habits of roaches, ants, spiders, bees, flies, fleas, gophers, mosquitoes, termites, other insects, worms, arachnids, and rodents.

  • Habitations of roaches, ants, spiders, bees, fleas, gophers, mosquitoes, termites, and other insects, arachnids, and rodents.

  • Methods of entry into buildings by roaches, ants, flies, mosquitoes, insects, spiders, scorpions, termites, worms, and rodents.

  • Rates of decomposition of bodies, through study of flies, maggots, termites, and other insects / larvae.

  • Types and frequencies of infestations into garbage and trash of roaches, ants, flies, mosquitoes, spiders, and worms, as well as mice, rats, and other vermin.

Pesticides / insecticides / vermicides:

• Effects of various pesticides, insecticides, and vermicides on crops, landscaping, outdoor furnishing, structures, nearby swimming pools, and the ground water supply.

• Effects of various pesticides, insecticides, and vermicides on humans, pets, farm animals, wild animals, birds, and fish.

• Effects of various pesticides, insecticides, and vermicides on the environment and ecology in general.

• Governmental programs to abate mosquitoes, med flies, other insects, gophers, etc.

• Improperly maintained pesticide application equipment.

• Improved methods of  protecting workers / employees from pesticides, insecticides, and vermicides.

• Improvements in pesticides, insecticides, and vermicides

• New methods, to be used by pest control companies, to rid property of termites, ants, fleas, roaches, and other insects.

• Rates of spread and distance of travel of  various pesticides,  insecticides, and vermicides - above and below ground, via runoff, and even via drifting / blowing sand and snow.
